Premier League title chasers Liverpool are said to have prepared no less than €70 million in an effort to land Napoli star performer Lorenzo Insigne.
Reports coming from the Italian news outlet La Reppublica, the Reds have already approached Insigne’s agent Mino Raiola to discuss a possibility of the 27-year-old Italian international moving to Anfield in the summer.
Insigne has been persistently linked with a move away from Napoli over the past couple of years. As a key figure in Carlo Ancelotti’s side this season, the exciting Italian forward is unlikely to be allowed to leave Partenopei who have just lost their captain Marek Hamsik to the Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang.
Lorenzo Insigne is valued at €150 million and Liverpool would need to dig much deeper into their pockets in order to take away the player who is contracted to Napoli until 2022.
